Pathfinder Worldscape Humble Bundle Offer

Pathfinder’s company Paizo has teamed up with comics/entertainment company Dynamite to bring a fantastic value to you Humble Bundlers out there!

I’ve been waiting with bated breath for the next Pathfinder HB to come around! If you’ve been following the Ogres for a while, you’ll know that while we haven’t TTRPG’d (tabletop role-playing game) in a while, we used to hit the Dungeons and Dragons pretty damn hard in our youth and young adulthood. I started off with Advanced D&D and moved through to 3.5e, which has been our system ever since.

The Rise of Pathfinder

You see, while Wizards of the Coast (Wotc) were in the process of “reinventing” the game (D&D) with the less-than-stellar 4e in 2007-2008, a publishing company called Paizo started working on their own RPG built off the back of the 3.5 edition ruleset set forth in Wizard’s Open Gaming License. Pathfinder took all of the things released through D&D 3.5e and refined them, grew them, or ditched them in order to fine-tune the system. The only problem for me? I had already spent hundreds of American dollars to buy up most of the books offered through WotC pertaining to 3.5e! And as cool as PF sounded, I was no longer in a position to continue that trend.

In fact, my first look at Humble Bundle came about because my Dueling Ogres co-host, Brandon, shared a similar Pathfinder bundle with me last year! I’m not sure how many times this bundle comes around, but I was really upset I didn’t have the means to get it then. You can bet your white whale I’ll be getting it now!  And with Dynamite joining the fun, you’ll have plenty of content to build your own worlds with, or play within the confines of other campaign settings.

Dynamite Entertainment has been around since 2004 and features such titles as Red Sonja, Vampirella, The Shadow, Game of Thrones, and many, many more!

So if you follow Dueling Ogres on any of our social platforms, you may have noticed that we recently partnered with Humble Bundle in an effort to "diversify our marketing portfolio." But really, it's more than that. Brandon has been using Humble Bundle for a long time now, and the diversity of the content you can purchase for a crazy value is unparallelled. From games to books, mobile and computer software, there's a lot of variety to be had! We really love the service and by partnering with HB, we hope we can turn you on to some amazing deals that we're drooling over just as much as the next interdimensional space being.

The gentle sasquatch, known colloquially as "Remington," has been kicking around the rolling hills of West Virginia for hundreds of years. It is uncertain where he came from or where he will eventually end up, but for the time being you can usually find him hunkered behind any restaurant dumpster searching for half-eaten cheeseburgers while humming "What if God was One of Us?"

While he's not reminiscing fondly over his ill-gotten acorn collection, you can also catch him pretending to know anything at all about audio while trying to produce this train wreck they call a podcast in his "studio," which is nothing more than an multidimensional pocket shimmed between the fabric of space-time. That's where sasquatches live, you know.
